Lima Allen County Paramedics (LACP) provides on-site training  to facilities such as nursing homes, worksites, and schools.  In addition, LACP offers first-aid and AED classes.

HEALTHCARE PROVIDER CERTIFICATION/RE-CERTIFICATION

A course for the professional healthcare provider: EMT's, Nurses, Physicians and Para-professionals: life-guards and others who are required to respond in an emergency.

Certification-- 4-6 hours; Re-Certification-- 3-5 hours

 

HEARTSAVER CPR CERTIFICATION/RE-CERTIFICATION

A course that teaches lay rescuers (i.e. employees in the workplace, daycare, babysitters, etc)

Certification-- 3-4 hours; Re-Certification-- 2-3 hours

 

HEARTSAVER AED COURSE

The Heartsaver AED course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use the AED.  Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking.

AED with CPR-- 3-4 hours; AED only-- 2 hours

 

THE HEARTSAVER FIRST AID COURSE

This course provides the skills to effectively assess and maintain life from the critical minutes immediately following an emergency until the arrival of emergency medical services personnel.

First Aid-- 2-4 hours
