Since 1964, Lima Allen County Paramedics (LACP) has been a vital private emergency and non-emergency ambulance service that has strived to provide the gold standard of care. LACP, from its very conception, has been providing Lima and the region with the highest level of care with state-of-the-art life support equipment and highly skilled medical personnel. LACP is a leader in the medical transportation service that believes it takes more than a fast ride and a first aid kit to provide you with the quality care and treatment that you deserve. Our goal is to enhance and continue the trust and confidence of the community and to promote the well being and dignity of all.
We have grown steadily over the years, receiving enough fee-for-service revenue to replace capital equipment on a timely basis. LACP must make sound financial business decisions to maintain everyday operational costs. We are designed to be funded through the collection of user fees and do not rely on tax dollars to fund our operational costs. If you are transported, you will receive a bill. As a courtesy to our patients, we bill Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance companies directly.
